Prabhakar Hegde

Prabhakar Hegde trained under a Parashari scholar in Udupi, Karnataka, spending seven years studying the Parashari system with strict emphasis on the Lahiri ayanamsa before relocating to Mississauga, Ontario in the early 1990s. His foundation is rooted in the coastal Karnataka tradition of Jyotisha, a lineage that prizes mathematical precision over intuition, and that insistence on getting the calculation right before saying anything has defined his practice ever since. He has never deviated from sidereal reckoning and considers tropical astrology a separate discipline entirely.

Prabhakar reads primarily from the natal lagna and the navamsa, cross-referencing dasha sequences against transits before he opens his mouth on any prediction. He focuses on what the chart actually says, not what the client wants to hear.
