Meenal Gadgil

Meenal Gadgil was born and raised in Nashik, Maharashtra, in a household where the Panchang sat on the kitchen shelf alongside the spice tins. Her formal training began at the Nashik Jyotish Mandal in the early 1990s, under a scholar who insisted on strict sidereal calculation before any interpretation was attempted. She later deepened her study through the Pune-based Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Jyotish programme, where she was exposed to the classical Parashari texts in their original Sanskrit alongside rigorous ayanamsha debate. Twenty-seven years of practice grew directly from that foundation.

Meenal reads exclusively in the sidereal framework, she will tell you plainly that tropical charts introduce a nearly 24-degree error that she refuses to carry into her readings. Her focus sharpens around the sixth, eighth, and twelfth houses for health questions, and she pays close attention to the Dasha-Antardasha sequence when timing physical vulnerabilities. She does not deal in vague reassurances. She will tell you what the chart shows, what it does not show, and what you can actually do with that information.
