Mangal Munda

Mangal Munda grew up in Ranchi, Jharkhand, where his grandmother, a folk healer and dream-keeper of the Munda community, would wake before dawn to interpret the night's visions before they faded. From her he inherited the idea that dreams are not random noise but a second sky, one the waking mind rarely looks up at. Formal training came later through a Vedic jyotish lineage in Varanasi, where he studied under a senior teacher for nearly seven years, focusing on the connection between the subtle body, svapna shastra, and planetary transits.

Mangal reads by feeling first, calculation second. When a client shares a dream or asks a prashna question, he sits with the imagery, the color of water, what was chasing whom, whether the sun appeared, before he ever opens a chart. He believes the unconscious speaks in symbols that mirror the planetary moment, and his work is to translate between those two languages. He will not give yes-or-no verdicts on irreversible decisions, and he never dramatizes dark imagery to frighten people. A disturbing dream, in his view, is almost always a signal to pay attention, not a sentence.

Most people come to Mangal carrying confusion they cannot name, a recurring nightmare before a big career move, a dream of a deceased parent the night before a wedding, a strange prashna that woke them at 3 a.m. They leave with a framework: what the symbol likely means in their current planetary period, what it is asking of them, and one concrete thing they can do or observe in the coming weeks. The goal is always clarity over certainty.
