Brijmohan Kansal

Brijmohan Kansal grew up in a household in Old Delhi where astrology was not a hobby but a household language, his maternal uncle, a practicing jyotishi for thirty years, taught him to read a birth chart the way others learn to read a newspaper. Formal training came later, through the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Jyotish program in New Delhi, where he studied under a senior teacher and deepened his grounding in Parashari principles. He has been reading charts from his home practice in Gurgaon for fifteen years.
