Yogesh Sabharwal

Yogesh Sabharwal was born into a family of Sanskrit pandits in Amritsar and spent his formative years absorbing the oral traditions of Kashmiri Shaivism from his maternal grandfather, a practitioner who had memorized the Shiva Sutras in their entirety. He later deepened his studies under a Jyotisha scholar at the Banaras Hindu University, where he was introduced not only to Jyotisha's classical texts, the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and the Jataka Parijata, but also to the esoteric lineages that hold the Akashic field as the underlying substrate of astrological intelligence. In 1993 he relocated to Mississauga, Canada, where he has practiced continuously for thirty-one years.

Yogesh approaches a reading as a scholarly act of listening, to the chart, to the client, and to what he calls the "śabda-field," the resonant informational layer that Sanskrit cosmology describes as surrounding every individual life. He works primarily with natal charts using Parashara's divisional systems, paying particular attention to the Navamsha and Drekkana for karmic patterning, and he overlays that framework with direct Akashic access, a disciplined meditative practice, not a performance. He will not predict death timelines, will not feed fear, and he draws a firm distinction between fate and trajectory: the stars, in his view, indicate tendencies, not verdicts.

Most of his clients come to him carrying questions about long-delayed marriages, complicated partnerships, and karmic debts that seem to repeat across relationships. After a session with Yogesh, people typically leave with a clearer vocabulary for what they have been experiencing, a precise planetary explanation, a timing window for change, and a concrete remedial practice drawn from classical Jyotisha, whether mantra, gemstone, or a specific dana. He sees his role as translator between the cosmic record and ordinary human life.
