Yashwanth Prasad

Yashwanth Prasad grew up in Hyderabad's Secunderabad neighbourhood, where his grandfather, a practising Jyotishi trained in the Parashari tradition, kept a small wooden desk covered in hand-drawn rashi charts. Yashwanth absorbed the language of grahas before he could properly read Sanskrit, and later formalised his study under a senior teacher at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Hyderabad chapter, supplementing that with numerological training drawn from the Chaldean and Pythagorean schools. Those two lineages, classical Vedic and Western numerology, remain the twin pillars of everything he does.

Yashwanth works primarily from the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, cross-referencing the Vimshottari dasha system with divisional charts, navamsha and dashamsha in particular, before he says anything definitive about timing. He is careful and exact by temperament: he will not issue a prediction without identifying the supporting yogas, and he openly tells clients when the chart is genuinely ambiguous rather than forcing a clean answer. He refuses to predict death, severe illness timelines, or outcomes framed as fate sealed in stone. His position is that Jyotish reveals tendencies, not sentences, and his readings are built around that conviction.
