Usha Rangnekar

Usha Rangnekar came to formal study late, but her relationship with the night sky and the interior world of dreams began in her grandmother's home in Pune, where Swapna Shastra, the ancient Vedic science of dream interpretation, was as ordinary as morning prayer. She trained formally under a senior teacher at the Jyotish Vidya Mandir in Nashik in her early sixties, after decades of keeping private dream journals and corresponding with scholars across Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. She now lives and practices in Toronto, carrying that southern and western Indian lineage across continents.

Usha reads sidereal charts, not tropical, and she is precise about that distinction because she believes it matters to the soul of the reading. Her method anchors on the Prashna Kundali, the chart drawn for the exact moment a question is asked, which she combines with dream imagery the client brings to the session.
