Tapan Das

Tapan Das was born and raised in Krishnanagar, West Bengal, in a family that had long maintained ties to traditional Bengali tantra and directional science. His formal training began under Pandit Sukumar Bhattacharya in Kolkata, a disciplinarian who insisted that every recommendation be traceable back to classical Manasara and Mayamata texts. Tapan later cross-referenced those foundations with Vastu Shastra as practiced in the Rajasthani and South Indian traditions, spending two years studying construction alignments in Jaipur before returning to Bengal to build his own practice.

Tapan reads spaces the way other astrologers read birth charts — he goes room by room, zone by zone, checking the Brahmasthan, the eight directions, entry points, staircase orientation, and elemental balance before he says a single word.
