Smita Apte grew up in Pune in a family where her maternal grandmother read playing cards at the kitchen table every Sunday — not for fortune-telling, but just to understand people better. That kitchen-table intuition stuck. Smita formally trained in Tarot under Ridhima Oberoi's school of Jungian-inflected tarot reading in Mumbai, and later layered in Vedic birth chart interpretation through the Pune Jyotish Mandal's weekend intensives. By the time she was 26, she'd done over 400 practice readings on friends, cousins, and college roommates.

Smita reads love and relationship questions through a dual lens — she pulls tarot cards first to get the emotional temperature of a situation, then cross-references the natal and synastry chart to understand why those patterns are showing up.
