Paramjit Kaur came to astrology through an unlikely door, retirement. After spending decades raising a family in Chandigarh and watching three of her children navigate complicated marriages, she enrolled in a correspondence course with the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan in her early sixties, then deepened her studies under a local Jaimini practitioner in Sector 22 who had trained in the classical Karnataka lineage.
