Pandit Rajesh Shastri

Pandit Rajesh Shastri was born into a family of Jyotish practitioners in Varanasi, where his grandfather Pandit Haridutt Shastri held the chair of Jyotish Shastra at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University for nearly three decades. Rajesh ji began his formal study under his grandfather's direct tutelage at the age of nine, memorising the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra verse by verse before he had turned fourteen. He later completed his Jyotish Acharya degree at the Kashi Vidvat Parishad, deepening his grounding in Parashari, Jaimini, and Tajika systems under scholars who traced their lineage directly to the Kashi tradition.

Rajesh ji reads a chart the way a physician reads a patient — methodically, layer by layer, never rushing to a verdict. He anchors every reading in the Vimshottari dasha sequence, cross-referencing with Chara dasha for soul-level questions and Ashtakavarga for transit strength. He works carefully with divisional charts, particularly the Navamsha and Dashamsha, before making any statement about relationships or career. He is firm about one boundary: he will not name death dates or catastrophic timings, believing that Jyotish is a lamp to illuminate the road, not a sentence handed down by fate.

Most of Pandit ji's clients come to him at crossroads — choosing between cities, careers, or life partners, or trying to make sense of a streak of misfortune that seems to have no rational explanation. They leave with a clear understanding of which planetary period they are navigating, what its classical indications are, and what remedial measures — mantra, dana, or gemstone — are traditionally appropriate for their specific lagna and running dasha.
