Harish Vaidya

Harish Vaidya grew up in a joint family in Jaipur, where his maternal grandfather, a retired schoolteacher and part-time Jyotishi, would spread a hand-drawn chart on the dining table every Sunday and explain it to whoever would listen. Harish listened. He formally trained under a senior teacher at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Delhi in the early 2000s, specializing in the Parashara school of Vedic astrology, before relocating to Calgary, Canada, where he has spent the last two decades reading charts for the South Asian diaspora and curious Westerners alike.

Harish reads with the 5th and 7th houses always in his peripheral vision, he says every question a person truly has, even if they claim it's about career or money, is secretly about love. He focuses on relationship timing through Dasha and Navamsa analysis, and has built a reputation for birth-time rectification using life-event anchoring: cross-matching your major milestones against the chart until the Ascendant clicks into place like a key in a lock. He won't tell you who to marry. He won't promise a breakup will fix your life. He reads for patterns, not prescriptions.

Most of Harish's clients come to him with a version of one of two questions: "Will we make it?" or "Should I even try?" He helps them understand what the chart says about compatibility, timing, and karmic pull, and then he tells them that free will still exists, even inside a horoscope. People leave his sessions less confused, sometimes less hopeful, but almost always with a clearer sense of what they actually want and what they've been avoiding.
