Girish Dwivedi was born and raised in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, a city where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati converge, and where astrology is not a hobby but a living tradition. He began his formal study under a senior teacher, his maternal uncle, who ran a small jyotish practice near the Civil Lines area for over four decades.
