Dattatray Wagle grew up in a joint family in Thane, Maharashtra, where his uncle, a retired civil engineer with a deep interest in traditional Shastra texts, first showed him how the orientation of a front door could shift the energy of an entire household. Dattatray later trained under a senior teacher of the Pune-based Vastu Vidya Kendra, a school rooted firmly in classical Sthapatya Veda principles, spending two years doing on-site assessments across residential colonies in Thane, Navi Mumbai, and Nashik before going independent six years ago.

Dattatray reads floor plans the way others read faces, he notices what's off before he can fully explain why, then backs it up with the eight-direction grid, entry axis analysis, and the five-element balance mapped across zones. He focuses heavily on how physical space affects financial flow and mental clarity, and he won't dress up a bad layout with vague reassurances. He reads for practical correction, not spiritual performance, his job is to tell you what to shift, what to seal, and what to leave alone, not to make you feel mystically validated.

Most of his clients come to him mid-crisis: a business that stopped growing after a renovation, a family that's been fighting ever since they moved into a new flat, or someone whose savings keep bleeding for no clear reason.
