Chinmay Vartak

Chinmay Vartak grew up in Pune, in a household where his maternal grandmother kept a small altar of healing herbs and river stones beside her kitchen window. She never called herself a healer, but neighbors came to her anyway. Chinmay followed that pull formally when he trained under a grand master at a pranic healing and Reiki foundation in Mumbai in his mid-twenties, later deepening his Western astrological studies through correspondence with the Faculty of Astrological Studies, London. Thirteen years of practice have since rooted him firmly between two worlds, the chart and the body.

Chinmay reads a natal chart the way a doctor reads a body scan: looking first for what is under pressure before deciding what needs release. He layers Western psychological astrology, particularly aspects to Chiron and the nodes, with Reiki channel assessments to identify where a person's energy is genuinely blocked versus simply stressed. He will not tell you when you will die, find a job, or whether your ex is coming back. What he will do is sit with you inside the difficult transit and help you feel where in your body it is living, and what the chart suggests about how to move through it rather than around it.

His clients tend to arrive at inflection points: after a diagnosis, during a career collapse, in the middle of a relationship that has stopped making sense. They leave with a concrete sense of which life area deserves the most attention right now, a short Reiki self-practice tailored to their chart, and usually a few questions they hadn't thought to ask before the session. He works primarily in English and Hindi, sees clients on the WishAstro platform, and still lives in Mumbai.
