Dr. Bhanumathi Nair trained under a senior teacher at the Thiruvananthapuram Sanskrit College, where she spent seven years mastering the Jaimini Sutras under his direct supervision before completing her doctoral thesis on Chara Dasha and karmic timing at the University of Kerala. Her lineage traces back to a Nair family of traditional Kerala jyotishis, her maternal grandfather was a recognized parish astrologer in Attingal for four decades, and she absorbed the oral commentary tradition alongside formal academic study, making her approach unusually grounded in both textual precision and lived practice.

She reads strictly through the Jaimini framework: Chara Karakas, Pada Lagna, Arudha charts, and Navamsha analysis are her primary instruments. She does not layer multiple systems onto a single reading and will say so plainly, she has no interest in giving you a salad of Parashara, KP, and Western transits just to sound comprehensive.
