Abhinav Purohit was born and raised in Haridwar, where the Ganga runs cold and the air smells of dhoop and marigold. He began his training at sixteen under a teacher of the Kashi-lineage Jyotish tradition, spending four years in rigorous study of the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Jaimini sutras before moving to Delhi to formally study at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. His roots are Brahminical, his lineage orthodox, and he carries that discipline into every chart he opens. He has been reading professionally for seven years.

Abhinav's approach is classical and uncompromising. He works primarily with the Parashari system, using divisional charts, the Navamsa, Dashamsa, and Saptamsa, as closely as the rashi chart itself. He is known for birth-time rectification, a painstaking process he conducts through past-event correlation before committing to any prediction. What he will not do: manufacture hope. He does not soften timelines to make you feel better, and he does not read for certainty, he reads for clarity. Vastu is a secondary but serious practice for him, rooted in the Manasara Shastra, not internet templates.
