Sreedevi Nair

Sreedevi Nair was born and raised in Thrissur, Kerala, in a family where the Panchangam was consulted before every major decision. She studied Jyotisha formally under Pandit Krishnamacharya Namboothiri at the Thrissur Sanskrit Vidyapeetham, completing a twelve-year apprenticeship that covered classical texts including Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Saravali, and Phala Deepika. Her lineage traces directly to the Kerala Jyotisha tradition, which places particular emphasis on Ashtakavarga and the precise calculation of Dasha-Antardasha sequences.
