Tara Bhandari

Tara Bhandari came to astrology the way a lot of people do, through a health crisis she couldn't explain. After years working in wellness consulting in New York, she began studying Medical Astrology under a teacher at a New York astrology school, cross-referencing those techniques with the Prashna and natal traditions she absorbed from her mother's well-worn copy of B.V. Raman. She's also a certified Reiki Level II practitioner, trained through the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage, and she weaves that energetic lens directly into how she reads a chart.

Tara reads the 6th house first, always. She looks at the 8th for chronic patterns, the 12th for hidden drain, and tracks planetary periods through Vimshottari dashas to understand why something is flaring up right now versus six months ago. She doesn't claim to diagnose anything, and she won't pretend a bad transit means a terminal outcome. What she does is locate where your body is carrying tension you haven't named yet, and she maps out the timing windows where healing work is most likely to land.

Most of the people who come to Tara are dealing with exhaustion they can't source, anxiety that spikes at weird times, or a gut feeling that something is off even though every test comes back clear. They leave with a clearer picture of what their chart says about their body's rhythms, what periods to pay extra attention to their health, and often a simple Reiki or elemental practice to work with in the meantime.
