Sowmya Prasanna

Sowmya Prasanna began her formal study of astrology inside an established KP lineage in Bangalore, attending intensive workshops with a KP astrologers' association in the early 2010s. She deepened her grounding through direct mentorship with a senior practitioner in Secunderbad who had himself studied under K.S. Krishnamurti's direct students, giving her a traceable line back to the system's origin. Her family background in South Indian Shaiva tradition gave her an early comfort with Sanskrit terminology and the philosophical scaffolding that sits beneath the mathematics of KP.

Sowmya reads strictly within the KP framework, sub-lord theory, Placidus cusps, significator chains, and she refuses to mix systems mid-reading. She will not blend Western sun-sign interpretations, Lal Kitab remedies, or generic nakshatra folklore into a KP analysis because she believes dilution undermines precision. She reads for clarity, not comfort: she'll tell you what the chart shows, then tell you what it cannot show. She does not predict death timings, severance of relationships, or irreversible catastrophe. What she offers instead is probability windows and the conditions under which an outcome becomes more or less likely.
