Vidya Urs

Vidya Urs was born and raised in Mysore, Karnataka, and began her formal study of astrology under a senior teacher, a direct student of the KP system's founder K.S. Krishnamurti. She spent seven years cross-training in both South Indian and North Indian chart traditions before committing entirely to the Krishnamurti Paddhati, drawn to its surgical precision and its insistence on falsifiability. Her pan-Indian practice has taken her from Mysore to Chennai to Delhi, and she has spent twenty-four years refining her understanding of Sub-Lord theory, ruling planets, and stellar-level analysis.

Vidya reads with a scalpel, not a paintbrush. She works exclusively within the KP framework, Sub-Lords, Significators, Cuspal Interlinks, and refuses to blend systems or dilute a reading with vague reassurances. She will not promise outcomes; she identifies timing windows and probability clusters. She does not predict death dates, terminal illness trajectories, or violent events. Her philosophy is that the chart shows tendency and timing, and that a clear, honest reading, even an uncomfortable one, is far more useful to a person than comforting fiction dressed up as astrology.
