Kusum Bajpai

Kusum Bajpai was born and raised in Lucknow, in a household where her maternal grandmother kept a well-thumbed copy of Bhrigu Nadi sutras beside the kitchen gods. She began her formal study under a senior Nadi teacher in Varanasi at the age of thirty-eight, spending three years learning the thumb-impression system and the leaf-matching process before she ever sat across from a paying client. She later cross-trained in tarot under a Mumbai-based school and completed Reiki Level III attunement, but Nadi remains the spine of everything she does.

Kusum reads without performance. She will not light incense for your benefit, she will not speak in riddles, and she will not stretch a fifteen-minute answer into a forty-five-minute session to justify her fee. She works from your thumb impression, identifies the relevant leaf bundle, and tells you what the text says, plainly, in order, without editorial flourish. She uses tarot as a cross-check when Nadi timing feels ambiguous, and Reiki when a client's energy is so blocked that even clear guidance cannot land. She reads for clarity, not comfort, and she does not predict dates of death under any circumstance.

She works mostly with people who have been to three other astrologers and still feel stuck, career crossroads, marriage delays, property disputes that drag for years. They come to Kusum because someone told them she gives straight answers. They leave with a specific action window, a concrete next step, and no room for wishful thinking. That is the point of the exercise, as far as she is concerned.
