Karthik Pillai

Karthik Pillai was born and raised in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in a family where Jyotisha was never mysticism — it was practical counsel. His grandfather, a vaidika scholar in the Meenakshi Amman temple tradition, taught him to read rasi charts before he finished school. Karthik later trained formally under the late Sri K. Subramania Iyer of the Thiruvananthapuram Parasara Jyotisha School, where he spent four years drilling divisional charts, ashtakavarga tables, and dasha-antardasha timing sequences until they became second nature. That Sangam of temple knowledge and classical textual training is the spine of everything he does.

Karthik reads for decisions, not dreams. He goes straight to the tenth house, the second, the eleventh — money, career, status — and he works the Dashamsha chart hard because he believes most career confusion is actually a timing problem, not a talent problem. He refuses to give vague reassurances. If Saturn is squeezing your second house, he'll say so and tell you exactly which window opens next and what to do before it does.
