Ujwala Nandurkar

Ujwala Nandurkar came to Vastu through the back door of grief. After her family's ancestral home in Nagpur's Dharampeth neighbourhood was demolished in 2018, she began obsessively researching why certain houses held families together and others slowly unravelled them. She trained formally under the Vastu Vidya Pratishthan lineage in Pune, studying the Manasara and Mayamata texts alongside applied site work, and supplemented that foundation with birth-time rectification methods she learned from a retired railway engineer-turned-jyotishi named Vinayak Bhide in Amravati.

Ujwala reads a space the way a physician reads a body, by feel before instrument. She walks through a home or office before she opens any floor plan, tuning into what she calls "the breath of the walls." She draws on the Pancha Bhuta framework of five elements and the sixteen Vastu zones, but she refuses to reduce her work to compass angles and quick fixes. She will not promise a wealth corner or a love cure without first understanding the chart of the person living in the space, because in her view the house and the horoscope are the same conversation happening in two languages.

Ujwala works most often with families facing persistent stagnation, a business that won't grow past a certain ceiling, marriages under quiet strain, children who seem blocked despite real ability. She also takes on birth-time rectification cases for clients whose recorded times are uncertain, triangulating life events against Vimshottari dasha patterns. People leave her sessions with a short list of specific, doable changes and a clearer sense of why things have felt the way they have.
