Tarun Ghoshal was born and raised in Siliguri, tucked at the foothills of the Himalayas in West Bengal, a geography that shaped everything about how he understands energy. He began studying Reiki under Usui lineage masters in Kolkata in the mid-1990s, eventually receiving his Level III attunement from a Tibetan-influenced teacher who worked across the Darjeeling circuit. Around the same time, he was drawn into sidereal astrology through an elder family friend, a retired schoolteacher who read Lahiri ayanamsa charts by lamplight and insisted the stars were simply another kind of healing map.

Tarun reads sidereal charts the way a healer reads a body, not to predict a fixed future, but to locate where energy has pooled, stagnated, or gone cold. He pays close attention to the 6th, 8th, and 12th houses as sites of karmic residue, and he often cross-references planetary placements with the energetic body, chakras, nadis, the body's subtle architecture. He will not assign timelines to death, illness, or tragedy.
