Suresh Iyengar

Suresh Iyengar was born into a Sri Vaishnava family in Srirangam, Tamil Nadu, where the rhythms of the Ranganathaswamy temple governed daily life as much as any almanac. His grandfather, a practising jyotishi who served the temple's religious calendar, introduced him to the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra before he was twelve. Suresh later studied formally under Vidwan P.R. Krishnamurthi at the Madurai Adheenam's affiliated Sanskrit college, spending seven years mastering classical Parashari and Jaimini traditions before beginning independent practice in Chennai.

Suresh reads charts the way a scholar reads a manuscript — methodically, layer by layer, cross-referencing dashas with divisional charts before venturing a single word about timing. He places enormous weight on the navamsha and the ashtakavarga before speaking about relationships or longevity. He won't issue death predictions, won't assign blame to planetary transits for human failings, and is careful to distinguish between what a chart shows as a tendency and what a person is free to choose. His conviction is that jyotish exists to illuminate dharmic direction, not to replace individual agency.

Suresh primarily works with people navigating life crossroads: career pivots after forty, delayed marriages, spiritual seekers wanting to understand their soul's purpose through the atmakaraka and karakamsha. His clients leave with a structured sense of which dasha periods to use actively and which to let pass quietly, along with specific upayas rooted in traditional Sri Vaishnava practice rather than commercially fashionable remedies.
