Kaustubh Shirke

Kaustubh Shirke was born and raised in Navi Mumbai, and his entry into astrology came through an unexpected route, a dog-eared copy of Lal Kitab he found in his late maternal uncle's bookshelf in Pune. That discovery led him to intensive Lal Kitab workshops in Thane, and later to a rigorous self-study of Parashari Jyotish through the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan correspondence course. Four years in, he reads charts the way a Konkan fisherman reads the sea, without sentiment, but with genuine respect for what he finds.

Kaustubh's readings are structured around the seventh, fifth, and second houses because, as he puts it, love stories live or die in those three rooms. He cross-references planetary positions with Lal Kitab's upayas, practical, low-cost remedies that don't require expensive rituals or exotic materials.
