Devi Saraswati

Devi Saraswati was born into a family of temple priests in Tirupati, where her grandfather would read the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra by lamplight every evening. She began her formal training under Pandit Krishnamurthy Shastri of the Andhra Jyotisha Parishad at the age of thirty-five, spending seven years studying classical Vedic astrology alongside daily Sanskrit recitation. She later deepened her spiritual practice through extended retreats at the Ramakrishna Ashram in Chennai, weaving together South Indian jyotish lineage with the devotional Bhakti framework she had absorbed since childhood.

Devi reads a chart the way a grandmother reads a grandchild's face — not hunting for disaster, but looking for what the soul came here to learn. She anchors every reading in the ninth house and the Atmakaraka planet, believing that spiritual purpose illuminates all other life questions. She will not use astrology to stoke fear, will not name death windows, and will not reduce a living person to their afflictions.
