Aparna Lahiri

Aparna Lahiri grew up in a joint family in Kolkata's Shyambazar neighbourhood, where her maternal grandmother, a devotee of the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, would read navamshas by lamplight every evening. Aparna formally studied Jyotisha under a senior teacher at the Sanskrit College in Kolkata during the late 1990s, deepening her grasp of Parashari principles alongside practical Vastu shastra through a second apprenticeship with a senior consultant in Salt Lake. That dual lineage, classical textual study and living oral tradition, shaped everything she does today.

Aparna reads relationship charts with particular focus on the seventh and fifth houses, the navamsha chart, and the interplay of Venus, Moon, and Rahu between two people's horoscopes. She pays close attention to Dasha timing, when a compatibility issue becomes liveable, when it peaks, when it eases, rather than issuing flat verdicts of match or mismatch.
