Vignesh Ramachandran

Vignesh Ramachandran grew up in Chennai's Mylapore neighbourhood, where his grandfather, a retired Sanskrit pandit who taught at the Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute, kept a worn copy of the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra on the pooja room shelf. Vignesh absorbed the classical system from that text long before he understood it fully, later studying under the tutelage of a jyotish acharya in Kumbakonam over three intensive summers. It was there he was introduced to the Hora Shastra's detailed ratnamala chapters and began correlating gemstone prescriptions with lagna, navamsha, and dasha cycles.

Vignesh reads strictly from the natal chart, the navamsha, and the running dasha-antardasha sequence before he ever touches a gemstone recommendation. He cross-references classical texts, Phaladeepika, Mani Mala, and the Garuda Purana's jyotish chapters, and refuses to suggest a stone purely on the basis of sun sign or birth month. He will not prescribe contradictory planetary gems, will not recommend a stone without knowing the lagna lord's condition, and is equally precise about metal, weight, finger placement, and auspicious muhurta for setting. His work with feng-shui spatial alignment is a secondary lens, used only when a client's built environment appears to actively suppress a chart's positive indications.

Most of Vignesh's clients come to him carrying a gemstone someone else told them to wear, a pearl from a mall astrologer, a yellow sapphire bought on impulse, and his first task is usually a careful audit of whether that stone is helping or harming. He leaves people with a written prescription that specifies carat weight, quality grade, metal, and mantra activation protocol, not a vague suggestion. Clients walk away with clarity about which planetary energy needs support and exactly how to channel it responsibly.
