Rushabh Thakkar

Rushabh Thakkar grew up in Ahmedabad's old city, where his maternal grandfather ran a small gemstone trading shop near Manek Chowk. It was there, watching the old man hold stones up to the afternoon light and murmur about their energy, that Rushabh's path was quietly decided. He trained formally under a senior teacher at a Vedic jyotish kendra in Ahmedabad and spent two additional years studying Hasta Samudrika Shastra, the classical science of palmistry, through private mentorship with a practitioner from Surat. His tarot practice came later, through immersion in the Rider-Waite tradition adapted for South Asian contexts.

Rushabh reads holistically, never in isolation. A gemstone recommendation without understanding a person's birth chart, palm lines, and current life phase is, in his view, incomplete and potentially harmful. He cross-references planetary placements with the lines of the hand before suggesting any stone, because he believes the palm shows what the chart predicts and together they tell a truer story. He refuses to recommend gemstones as quick fixes or status symbols, and he will not push expensive stones when a simpler remedy serves. Clarity is his north star, not certainty, because life is too layered for certainty.

Most of Rushabh's clients come to him mid-crisis: a career stagnating despite effort, a relationship that won't move forward, health anxiety that has been sitting with them for a long time. They walk away with a specific, considered gemstone suggestion if one is warranted, along with an honest reading of their palm and chart that names what's actually happening beneath the surface. His goal is that clients leave the conversation feeling less confused and more grounded, with practical next steps they can actually take.
