She pursued formal training in the Jaimini tradition with a teacher in New Delhi, completing an intensive graduate-level study of classical Parashari and Jaimini traditions. She later earned her doctorate in Sanskrit and Indian Knowledge Systems from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, where she wrote her dissertation on the Chara Karakas and their application in timing life events.
