Shobha Kamath

Shobha Kamath was born into a family of Tulu-speaking Brahmins from coastal Karnataka, where her grandmother kept a worn notebook filled with dream omens passed down through three generations of women. She first encountered Jaimini astrology under the guidance of a senior Jaimini teacher in Udupi, spending nearly four years studying chara karakas and pada lagna before relocating to Canada.
