Mohan Seshadri

Mohan Seshadri grew up in Mylapore, Chennai, in a household where his grandmother kept a small notebook beside her bed to record every dream before sunrise. That habit infected him early. He went on to study Western astrology under a correspondence school in Bangalore in the early nineties, then spent three years learning oneiromancy, the classical art of dream interpretation, through texts sourced from a small Tamil publishing house in Triplicane. His lineage is genuinely mixed: one foot in the Western natal chart tradition, one foot in Tamil folk dream-reading that stretches back centuries.

Mohan reads dreams the way a detective reads a crime scene, nothing is decoration, everything is evidence. He cross-references the imagery you describe against your natal chart, particularly the 12th house, Neptune's placement, and any active transits that might be pulling unconscious material to the surface. He refuses to offer blanket dream dictionaries. "Snakes mean a hundred different things depending on who is dreaming them," he'll tell you. He reads for pattern and timing, not for fear, and he won't dramatise a nightmare into a prophecy of doom.

Most of his clients come to him after a recurring dream has started messing with their sleep, or after a single vivid image, a flooded house, a dead relative speaking clearly, that they can't shake. They usually leave with two things: a grounded explanation of what psychological and planetary forces might be generating the imagery, and a practical suggestion for what to pay attention to in waking life over the next few weeks.
