Saroj Jangid

Saroj Jangid was born and raised in Jaipur, Rajasthan, into a family where Lal Kitab was not a curiosity but a household practice. Her maternal grandfather, a respected pandit in the old city's Chandpole area, kept a worn copy of Pt. Rup Chand Joshi's Lal Kitab on his desk and read charts by oil lamp well into his eighties. Saroj sat beside him through her childhood, watching him prescribe simple remedies, a copper coin, a piece of jaggery, and listening to him explain why the Lal Kitab spoke to the common person in a way classical Parashari astrology sometimes did not. She formally trained under a senior teacher of Jaipur's Galta Gate tradition before completing a structured course in Lal Kitab from the Lal Kitab Research Centre, Delhi.

Saroj reads charts from a Lal Kitab framework first and foremost, tracing the twelve houses as a narrative of karmic debts, identifying sleeping or awake planets, and reaching for the most practical remedy available rather than the most elaborate ritual. She does not predict fixed outcomes. Her philosophy is that Lal Kitab was written for ordinary families facing ordinary troubles, and her job is to read the debt, identify the tension, and suggest the simplest path to ease it. She will not issue fear-based readings, will not claim a remedy guarantees a specific result, and refuses to read a partner's chart if the intention behind the request feels controlling rather than loving.

Most of the people who come to Saroj are navigating something tender, a marriage that has lost warmth, a delayed proposal, a family opposed to a union, or a couple who love each other but keep hurting each other in the same old ways. She reads the Lal Kitab's house positions, spots the karmic pattern, and sends them away with something small but doable: feed birds on Thursday, donate at a temple, keep water near your head at night.
