Pandit Hariram Chhabra

Pandit Hariram Chhabra was born into a family of Punjabi pandits who carried their almanacs and Lal Kitab volumes all the way from Rawalpindi through partition and eventually to Delhi's Karol Bagh, where he grew up watching his grandfather draw odd angular charts on plain paper, no circular wheels, just boxes. He formally studied under an Old Delhi teacher, a rare practitioner of the Urdu manuscript tradition of Lal Kitab, spending seven years copying texts by hand before he ever sat in front of a client. He has lived in Montreal for the past eighteen years, serving a diaspora that spans from Brampton to Birmingham.

Hariram reads Lal Kitab exclusively and makes no apology for it. He treats each house as a debtor-creditor relationship and is far more interested in your Venus's 'kacha ghar' than in your rising sign. He refuses to sell yantras, gemstones, or fire rituals, his remedies are household-level: bury copper coins, keep a brick of raw sugar, float a coconut. He reads for clarity and practical action, not consolation, and will tell you plainly if a remedy won't work for your situation. He will not predict death timelines under any circumstances.

Most of his clients come with one of three problems, a marriage the family won't accept, a debt that won't clear, or a career stuck at the same ceiling for years. They leave with a specific list of two or three grounded remedies and a timeframe for when to expect movement, usually three to six months. He answers follow-up questions the same week and tracks whether the remedies are actually being done.
