Mrunal Kulkarni

Mrunal Kulkarni was born and raised in Pune, Maharashtra, in a household where the Panchang was consulted as naturally as the morning newspaper. Her maternal grandmother, a respected jyotishi in their Chitpavan Brahmin community, began teaching her to read birth charts when she was barely twelve. Mrunal later deepened her training under Pandit Vasudeo Abhyankar of the Pune Jyotish Vidyapeeth, spending seven years studying Parashari principles, navamsha interpretation, and the family karma patterns so central to the Maharashtra tradition of astrology.

Mrunal reads charts the way a family elder listens — with patience, without rush, and with a clear eye for what nobody wants to say out loud. Her work centers on the fourth, seventh, and eighth houses: home, marriage, and the hidden tensions that pull families apart.
