Dipen Shah was born and raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in a family where his maternal grandmother kept a small altar of crystals and would press warm stones into the palms of sick relatives. That early exposure to energy-based healing stayed with him through a corporate career in textiles, until at 39 he walked into a Level-1 Reiki training in Satellite, Ahmedabad, run by a Usui-lineage master who had trained under practitioners in Pune. He went on to complete his Reiki Master certification and dove deep into KP astrology under a Mumbai-based KP scholar, weaving both systems together into something that felt distinctly his own.

Dipen reads charts the way he conducts Reiki sessions, tracing the flow of energy, finding where it's blocked, and working out how to move it. He leans on KP's sub-lord system to pin down precise timing, and cross-references planetary placements with chakra correspondences before recommending gemstones. He won't hand you a lucky number and send you on your way. What he does instead is explain the underlying pattern, why a particular Saturn period feels suffocating, which stone might ease the static, and what practical shift you can make right now.
