Tarun Chhabra trained under a senior teacher at a jyotish vidyapeeth in Varanasi before relocating to the Indian diaspora community of Brampton, Ontario, where he built his practice from scratch. His early foundation was rooted in classical Samudrika Shastra, the ancient Sanskrit science of bodily marks and facial structure, which he cross-referenced against Brihat Samhita texts his grandfather had carried from a village outside Ludhiana. That dual inheritance, one foot in scripture and one in lived immigrant experience, gives his readings an unusual grounding.
