Sarita Nagpal came to palmistry through an unlikely door, a decade spent as a counselling psychologist in Mumbai before relocating to London, where she discovered the Benham School tradition through a women's study circle in Southall. She trained formally under a senior practitioner steeped in the Indo-British lineage of hand analysis, cross-referencing classical texts like Cheiro's Language of the Hand with the older Sanskrit samudrika shastra. That dual foundation gave her a rare fluency: the precision of a Western dermatoglyphic reader alongside the symbolic depth of the Indian tradition.

Sarita reads a palm as a living document, she pays close attention to the quality of the lines, the mount formations, and the texture of the skin, believing that the hand changes as the person changes.
