Nikhil Bhagat grew up in a household where the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra sat on the shelf next to cookbooks, his maternal grandfather, a retired schoolteacher from Nagpur, read charts for the whole neighbourhood on Sunday mornings. That early exposure drew Nikhil toward formal study in the Jaimini tradition with a teacher in that lineage while he was completing his MBA in New York, where he still lives. He spent three intensive years cross-referencing Jaimini Sutras with classical Parashari frameworks, attending workshops in both the US and Pune before taking on clients independently seven years ago.

Nikhil reads with a spirit of collaborative inquiry, he sees the chart as a map, not a verdict. His primary lens is Jaimini astrology, particularly Chara Dasha and the Atmakaraka's testimony in relationship matters, and he layers in Navamsa and Upapada Lagna before offering any compatibility assessment.
