Kunal Mathur

Kunal Mathur grew up in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, in a household where his maternal uncle, a retired government clerk obsessed with Cheiro's books, would map out family decisions using birth numbers on the back of old newspaper margins. That early exposure sent Kunal deep into the Pythagorean and Chaldean traditions through his early twenties, studying under a Delhi-based numerologist who ran a quiet practice out of a south Delhi kothi. Five years ago Kunal started reading for friends, then friends-of-friends, then strangers from across India who found him online.

Kunal works primarily with Chaldean numerology because he finds it more vibrationally precise than Pythagorean for South Asian naming patterns. In a session he pulls the Life Path, Destiny, Soul Urge, and Personality numbers first, then layers in the current Personal Year cycle to locate where someone actually is in their nine-year rhythm. He refuses to frame numbers as fate, his philosophy is that a number reveals the energy of a period, not a locked-in outcome. He will tell you clearly if a name or a business name is numerologically at odds with your Life Path, but he won't promise you a salary figure or a wedding date.

Most of Kunal's clients come in with career crossroads, the MBA-or-not question, whether to leave a stable job, which city to move to, or with timing questions like "is this year good for me to start something new." He also gets a lot of prashna-style questions, where someone just has a specific urgent question and wants a direct answer based on the number of the day and moment. People walk away from sessions with a clearer sense of their personal cycle year, a practical name or number correction if needed, and one or two concrete windows in the coming months to act on.
