Hetal Patel grew up in Vadodara, Gujarat, in a household where the evening puja always ended with her grandmother reading the family's kundalis by lamplight. That early immersion drew her toward the Parashara tradition, which she studied formally under Pandit Ramniklal Joshi at the Jyotish Vidyapeeth in Ahmedabad — a rigorous two-year residential programme that grounded her in Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra before she ever read a chart for pay. She has been in practice for twelve years, working first out of Vadodara and now consulting clients across India and the diaspora.

Hetal reads with the 7th, 5th, and 4th houses as her anchors — love, romance, and home are never separate in her view; they form one continuous story. She draws on Navamsha and Dasha timing to understand not just whether a relationship is written in the chart, but when it is likely to ripen or strain.
