Harjeet Singh was born into a family of learned men in Jalandhar, Punjab, where his grandfather kept a worn copy of Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra on the shelf beside the Guru Granth Sahib. He began his formal training under Pandit Raghunath Sharma of the Jyotish Vidya Peeth in Varanasi at the age of nineteen, spending seven years studying classical Parashari and Jaimini systems before returning to Punjab. That lineage — rooted in the Gangetic plains but filtered through Punjabi sensibility — shapes everything he does at the chart.
