Devendra Saxena

Devendra Saxena was born and raised in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and began his study of Jyotish under a senior teacher, a traditional Parashari practitioner who had inherited the lineage from the Kashi Vidvat Parishad scholars. Devendra spent nearly seven years in rigorous apprenticeship, memorizing slokas from the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra before he ever looked at a client's chart. He later deepened his study of Prashna Marga, the classical question-based branch, at a small gurukul outside Raipur where only a handful of students were accepted at a time.

Devendra reads health charts slowly and carefully, never rushing to a conclusion, always cross-checking the sixth house with the eighth, the lagna with its lord, and the condition of the Sun, Moon, and Ascendant ruler before he speaks. He focuses on constitutional tendencies rather than diagnoses: where the body is under stress, which organs or systems need attention, and what transit or dasha windows call for greater care. He will not name diseases or predict death, and he is firm about that. His purpose, he says, is to bring clarity and calm to a frightened mind, not to replace a doctor.

Devendra's clients are mostly people who are worried, about a chronic condition, an upcoming surgery, a family member's unexplained illness, or simply a nagging feeling that something is off. They come to him through Prashna, the horary method, when they don't even have a full birth chart to share. What they leave with is a clearer sense of timing, a gentler relationship with their own body, and usually a quiet reassurance that they are being seen.
