Ashutosh Trivedi

Ashutosh Trivedi was born into a family of pandits in Varanasi, where the study of Jyotisha was as natural as learning to read. He received his foundational training under Pandit Ramakant Shukla at the Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, immersing himself in the Parashari and Jaimini traditions simultaneously. His study of hasta-samudrika shastra — palmistry rooted in Sanskrit texts rather than Western parlor tradition — began under a retired railway officer and self-taught shastriya who spent forty years cross-referencing hand lines with birth charts in old Lucknow.

Ashutosh reads a chart the way a scholar reads a manuscript — slowly, with attention to what is actually written rather than what the reader hopes to find. He works primarily with the Vimshottari dasha system, supplementing with Ashtakavarga scoring and divisional charts, particularly the Navamsa and Dasamsa. He is deliberate about what he will not do: he refuses to tell someone when they will die, and he does not offer "remedies" that require expensive materials or elaborate rituals he cannot personally supervise. His palmistry is used as a corroborating lens, not a standalone prediction tool.
