Vasudha Kamdar

Vasudha Kamdar came to palmistry not through books but through hands, her grandmother's hands, specifically, which she studied as a child in Ahmedabad while the old woman explained what each line meant in the language of their family's Jain tradition. Formal training came later, under Kolkata-based palmist Shri Devenath Rao in the late 1990s, followed by years of self-study in KP astrology under correspondence from the School of KP Astrology. She has been reading palms and charts for twenty-three years, across India and in Sydney, where she has lived for the past decade.

Vasudha reads palms as a living map, not a fixed fate but a conversation the body is having with time. She always cross-references what she sees in the hand with a KP chart drawn for the birth moment, using one to confirm or question the other. She refuses to read lines as verdicts. "The hand changes," she will tell you plainly. "I have seen heart lines deepen after someone finally allowed themselves to love." She will not predict death, she will not assign blame to a spouse or parent based on a palm, and she will not give you a date and call it destiny.

Most of the people who come to Vasudha are navigating transitions, careers stalling in midlife, marriages under strain, adult children drifting away. They arrive anxious and leave with a sense that they are not at the mercy of their circumstances. She focuses less on prediction and more on timing, temperament, and the choices already latent in the hand waiting to be made.
