Yashwant Mathur grew up in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where his grandfather kept a worn leather notebook filled with name-number calculations for every family member, neighbor, and visiting merchant who came through their door. It was that notebook, and watching his nana sit cross-legged on the rooftop, tracing digits by lantern light, that first drew Yashwant into the world of numerology. He studied under a senior teacher of the Jaipur Occult Study Circle, learning the Chaldean and Pythagorean systems side by side, before returning to Jodhpur to build his own practice at twenty-four.
