Vandana Rao came to Nadi Jyotish through a personal crisis, not a classroom. After years of fruitless consultations with mainstream astrologers, a family friend in Vaitheeswaran Koil, Tamil Nadu introduced her to a Nadi reader from the Agasthiya lineage. Struck by the precision of those palm leaf inscriptions, details that no ordinary chart could yield, she spent three years apprenticing under a Nadi guru of that lineage, travelling between Brampton and coastal Tamil Nadu to master the leaf identification process and the Tamil script used in traditional Nadi bundles.

Vandana reads Nadi alongside Parashari chart work, always cross-referencing the palm leaf clues with the natal lagna and navamsha before drawing any conclusion. Her focus is on karmic relationship patterns, why a marriage succeeds or stalls, what past-life threads tie two people together, when the right window opens. She refuses to manufacture certainty where the leaves are silent. If a leaf is ambiguous, she says so plainly.
