Prasanta Nayak grew up in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, in a household where numbers and stars were never separate from daily life. His grandmother kept a handwritten almanac beside the kitchen shelf, and his first lessons came from her, not from a classroom. Formal training followed under the late astrologer V.K. Subramanian in Pune, where Prasanta spent three intensive years studying Western tropical astrology alongside psychological counseling frameworks. That blend of ancient sky-watching and modern self-understanding has never left him.

Prasanta works exclusively with the tropical Western chart, natal, synastry, progressed, and solar return. He opens every reading at the Ascendant and moves systematically through the chart rather than jumping to whatever the client most fears. He believes planetary transits describe weather, not fate, and he refuses to frame a Saturn transit as punishment or a Jupiter transit as guaranteed fortune. He won't give death timelines, won't rank one life path as objectively better than another, and he will not read a chart to judge whether someone else is "good" or "bad" for you.
